How does Jesus show that he came to save all (sinful) people?
Mark 2:14 (ESV)
14And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him, “Follow me.” And he rose and followed him.
Jesus calls a (hated) tax collector, Levi, to follow him and thus become his disciple. These tax collectors were known to be corrupt and to enrich themselves at the expense of others. They are also invited to go with Jesus!
