1. Acts 9:31 (ESV)
  2. Exposition

What is significant about the church of Samaria being mentioned with Judea and Galilee?

Acts 9:31 (ESV)

31 So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied.

The church (“ekklesia” in singular form) is an indication of the one church in all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria (all = “kath ‘olѐs” from which Catholic is derived!). So, the faithful Samaritans are on one line with believers from Judea and Galilee.
