We can look at this, and we can think that it is only pagan nations that are capable of this kind of cruelty, perversity, and sadism, but we would be wrong. It is not just a matter of pagan nations or non-democratic nations. It is not only in nations but it is in people. Individual people are capable—you are capable of this kind of cruelty and I am as well. You may say that you do not believe that. But then I question if you really understand what the Bible calls sin…And what you are really capable of, potentially or actually in your sinful nature if you have power over someone.1
