Babylon’s defeat as described in Revelation 17:14 generated four responses communicated by four separate voices (Revelation 18:1–3, Revelation 18:4–20, Revelation 18:21–24, and Revelation 19:1–10). The present (third) response prepares the way for the fourth (and most glorious) response.
