The Lord provides very clear instructions regarding the blood of this sacrifice. First, the priest would collect some blood in a vessel. Then, after entering the holy place of the sanctuary, he would dip his finger in the blood and splatter it on the curtain seven times.
6 and the priest shall dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle part of the blood seven times before the LORD in front of the veil of the sanctuary.
