What is the impact of Jesus act in the temple?

Mark 11:16 (ESV)

16 And he would not allow anyone to carry anything through the temple.

The whole trade comes to a standstill. He forbids the people to carry anything through the temple. And they obey him. People are impressed by his power, the leaders are angry but don’t dare to arrest him (Mark 11:18).
