27Whatever touches its flesh shall be holy, and when any of its blood is splashed on a garment, you shall wash that on which it was splashed in a holy place.
If blood were to splash onto the priest’s clothing, it was to be washed. The priest’s garments were a symbol of purity, and the blood was to be used only for its designated purpose.
