The first type of peace offering is the tôḏāh (thanksgiving) offering. The term tôḏāh
means confession or acknowledgment. This was a voluntary offering that was given to the Lord as an expression of gratitude. It appears to have been a frequent offering in the Old Testament (Amos 4:5; Psalm 107:22; Psalm 116:17; Jeremiah 17:26; Jeremiah 33:11).
12 If he offers it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer with the thanksgiving sacrifice unleavened loaves mixed with oil, unleavened wafers smeared with oil, and loaves of fine flour well mixed with oil.
