1. Acts 2:40 (ESV)
  2. Exposition

What did Peter do after his sermon to the crowd?

Acts 2:40 (ESV)

40 And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation.”

Peter did not only say what we have recorded in Acts 2:14–39. He (and the other apostles) spoke to the crowd giving further explanations of what Jesus has done and why they ought to be baptized in his name.1 It is very likely that there were long discussions and that the people asked many questions related to Peter’s message.2
