What does Acts 2:37-41 reveal about what God does in and through me (the work of the Holy Spirit)? God the Holy Spirit works a true faith in my heart so that I can turn from sin (repent), be cleansed of guilt (forgiveness of sin), and enjoy communion with God (Spirit dwelling within me). The same faith which the Spirit worked in me he also works in the hearts of all God’s elect (those whom the Lord calls to himself) through the preaching of the gospel.
