The temple courts provided the ideal place for people to meet in terms of accessibility and spatial requirements. From Acts 3:11 and Acts 5:12 it seems as if the believers met in Solomon’s Portico, a hall that was 200m long and 15m wide, situated on the eastern side of the temple complex.1
