10“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”
These are words spoken by the Lord himself. He commands the nations to be still. God alone is exalted among the nations. This verse may also be interpreted as an admonition to Judah to quietly trust in God.
