These verses paint a picture of nature in the springtime. It speaks of abundance and joy coming from God’s hand.
Even with all the scientific advances of our day, we are still dependent on our heavenly Father for successful harvests, just as much as the Israelites were when this psalm was composed. We should confess our dependence by praising God for these things.
9 You visit the earth and water it; you greatly enrich it; the river of God is full of water; you provide their grain, for so you have prepared it.
