We must remember that Pentecost is a Jewish festival from the old covenant. As we read from Leviticus 23:1–44, Pentecost, the Feast of Weeks, took place fifty days after presenting a sheaf from the first grain harvest, the day after the seventh Sabbath. Just to orientate us in terms of the Jewish calendar. If Passover took place on a Friday, then you would have the Feast of Unleavened Bread beginning on the Saturday and continuing for one week. After that comes the waving of the first sheaf of grain on the Sunday, and then you have seven weeks until Pentecost.
1 When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place.
