What is the miracle of the burning bush?

Exodus 3:2 (ESV)

2 And the angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed.

The bush is not consumed by the fire. It is a sign of the never-ending power and presence of God, who does not run out of fuel. God has fuel in himself. He is self-dependent; he does not need to consume wood or oil for fire.
