In the Bible to know
does not merely mean to have in mind, but also to be concerned. God does not only know what will happen, he is involved. He acts. See Isaiah 46:9–10 which reads, Remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done.
19 But I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go unless compelled by a mighty hand.
