Is there somthing significant about the fact that it was Peter who stood up?

15 In those days Peter stood up among the brothers (the company of persons was in all about 120) and said,

The fact that Peter is the one who stands up to take the lead is in accordance with what Jesus had said in Matthew 16:17–19. He is speaking on behalf of the apostles.1
