Why does Jesus ask the listeners with what the kingdom of God can be compared?
Mark 4:30 (ESV)
30And he said, “With what can we compare the kingdom of God, or what parable shall we use for it?
Jesus asks a few questions in this verse to see what expectations his listeners have of that kingdom. What would be a good picture of that realm? Naturally, you expect it to be something great, something that stands out.
