Who are the friends to whom Peter and John reported?
Acts 4:23 (ESV)
23When they were released, they went to their friends and reported what the chief priests and the elders had said to them.
It is not clear exactly where or to whom Peter and John returned. It could have been the believers gathering in Solomon’s Portico1 or a smaller gathering in someone’s home.2 There is a suggestion that the believers had been praying for Peter and John during the course of their trial.3
