Psalm 65:1–13 (ESV)

1 Praise is due to you, O God, in Zion, and to you shall vows be performed.

The circumstances surrounding the origin of Psalm 65 are not conclusively known, but it seems to be a song suited to a joyful feast celebrating God’s mercy after a period of drought and famine. The psalm may have been composed to be sung at the Feast of Booths or the Day of Atonement.
