What does Acts 5:12-16 reveal about what God does in and through me (the work of the Holy Spirit)? Through the preaching of his Word and by his Spirit, Jesus Christ is gathering his church, made up of people from the whole human race. The Spirit has graciously worked in my heart to bring me to repentance and faith in response to the preaching of the gospel, and now he continues to work in me. In particular he encourages me to know that the Bible is God’s Word.
