1. Acts 5:12 (ESV)
  2. Exposition

Who are the people among whom the apostles performed many miraculous signs and miracles?

Acts 5:12 (ESV)

12 Now many signs and wonders were regularly done among the people by the hands of the apostles. And they were all together in Solomon’s Portico.

The miraculous signs and wonders performed by the apostles took place over a period of time and they were done in public, primarily amongst Jewish people who were not yet converted.1 Presumably most miracles took place as the apostles moved between the temple court and the homes of believers. Similar to Jesus’ earthly ministry, it seems as if ordinary Jewish men and women sought the apostles out for healing (see Luke 4:31–44; Luke 6:17–19).2
