Leviticus 8:22 introduces the reader to the next sacrifice in the ordination ceremony of the priesthood. As in the earlier sacrifices, Moses fulfills the role of a priest. The procedure for this sacrifice is performed in accordance with the command that God gave to Moses in Exodus 29:19–20.
