Reuel (also called Jethro in Exodus 3:1) is Moses’ father-in-law. In Judges 4:11 we read about Hobab as Hobab the father-in-law of Moses
(KJV). But in Numbers 10:29, some translations calls Hobab the brother-in-law of Moses. The reference to Moses’ father-in-law in Judges 4:11 is probably also Moses’ brother-in-law (as per NIV). People often had more than one name, just like in many cultures in our days.
18 When they came home to their father Reuel, he said, “How is it that you have come home so soon today?”
