In contrast with expectation, the organized persecution does not stop the spread of the Christian faith as believers share the message of Christ in the towns and villages where they flee. This was unlikely to be a formal preaching on the street corners, but rather a joyful and spontaneous testimony to the truth that Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ.¹
