How did Philip proclaim the good news about Jesus?

Acts 8:35 (ESV)

35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning with this Scripture he told him the good news about Jesus.

Exactly how Philip proclaimed the good news of Jesus is not stated. In answer to the eunuch’s question (Acts 8:34), he would have presumably explained that the prophet is speaking about an individual suffering servant who takes on the sin of all of humanity (Isaiah 53:12). He would have then connected the suffering servant prophecy (Isaiah 52:13 – 53:12) to Jesus who was killed and resurrected from the grave. Quite possibly he may have gone on to mention how the good news of Jesus now reverses the terms of Deuteronomy 23:1 so that eunuchs are also able to fully join God’s people, as prophesied in Isaiah 56:3–5.
