Life has so many personal cares and responsibilities, to the point that one quickly feels exhausted. If then someone comes along needing help (including perhaps hospitality) it is tempting to conclude that assistance is beyond one’s ability. Peter would have his readers know that when the Lord God directs a needy person to your door, he will also supply the strength required to assist (Malachi 3:10).
11 whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
