Amon is buried in the same spot as his father Manasseh. 2 Kings 21 ends with the announcement that Josiah reigned in his place. After the two wicked kings, Manasseh and Amon (father and son), Josiah will do things quite differently than his father and grandfather.
Each person has his or her own responsibility in the choices that they make for or against God; faith is not hereditary and neither is unbelief (see also 2 Kings 21:3).
26 And he was buried in his tomb in the garden of Uzza, and Josiah his son reigned in his place.
