Commentary on Job 10:20 (Summary)

Job 10:20 (ESV)

20 Are not my days few? Then cease, and leave me alone, that I may find a little cheer

As Job’s first wish (that of never having lived) cannot come true, he now only has one more wish. He wants God to leave him in peace, so that he may enjoy his last few days. If God were his enemy, as he believes, then he would only experience joy if God would turn away from him.
