What is significant about the pronoun “you”?

Zephaniah 3:11 (ESV)

11 “On that day you shall not be put to shame because of the deeds by which you have rebelled against me; for then I will remove from your midst your proudly exultant ones, and you shall no longer be haughty in my holy mountain.

The pronoun in the Hebrew is in the feminine singular. It resumes the direct address to Jerusalem in Zephaniah 3:7. Perhaps it also follows upon the mention of “the daughter of my dispersed ones” (Zephaniah 3:10), and anticipates the use of “daughter of Zion” (Zephaniah 3:14).
