Revelation 19:20 had informed us that the beast and the false prophet had been thrown alive in this lake. Their ringleader (see Revelation 13:1–18) receives the same judgment as his lackeys received. This time the Holy Spirit gives us the added information that the three of them will experience unending torment.
10 and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
