Are your oppressors
Jews or foreigners? The Lord here speaks of “all your oppressors,” which would then need to include fellow rebellious Jews as well as the corrupt rulers (Zephaniah 3:1), but then also Assyrians, Babylonians, and the neighbours who took advantage of Jerusalem when the Babylonians attacked.1
19 Behold, at that time I will deal with all your oppressors. And I will save the lame and gather the outcast, and I will change their shame into praise and renown in all the earth.
