13 Now who is there to harm you if you are zealous for what is good?

The exhortation in 1 Peter 3:13–17 develops the preceding verses, which include the words “turn from evil and do good” (1 Peter 3:10–12). Now Peter counsels the Christians that no one can really harm the followers of the Lord Jesus, for “the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous” (1 Peter 3:12).1
