What is significant about the Philistines’ “shouting” as they met Samson?

Judges 15:14 (ESV)

14 When he came to Lehi, the Philistines came shouting to meet him. Then the Spirit of the LORD rushed upon him, and the ropes that were on his arms became as flax that has caught fire, and his bonds melted off his hands.

Their greeting Samson with a shout recalls the lion greeting him with a roar in Judges 14:5. They were celebrating his capture and expecting his defeat. But their fate would be similar to the lion’s. For now, all the pieces were in place for the Lord to execute his plan.
