The killing of her babies and the humiliating enslaving of her greatest leaders were the brutal means used by Assyria to destroy and exploit Thebes. But now all of that is about to happen to Nineveh as the Lord sends the Babylonians in judgment, and Nineveh is foolish to think they will be able to withstand this invasion.
