Why did Nabal’s servant think that harm was determined against his master and his whole household?
1 Samuel 25:17 (ESV)
17Now therefore know this and consider what you should do, for harm is determined against our master and against all his house, and he is such a worthless man that one cannot speak to him.”
Nabal’s servant considered his master’s response to be sinful and likely to incur David's wrath. This confirms that David had a right to share in the profit and he was not asking for charity.
17 Now therefore know this and consider what you should do, for harm is determined against our master and against all his house, and he is such a worthless man that one cannot speak to him.”
