Galatians 1:4 (ESV)

4 who gave himself for our sins to deliver us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,

The death of Jesus Christ was in accordance with the will of the Father (see John 10:18; Mark 14:36). The Father and Son acted in perfect harmony in the death of Jesus and the call of Paul to be an apostle.1
