How do I prepare to give a reason for the hope within?

1 Peter 3:15 (ESV)

15 but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,

Prepare every day so that you are ready to give an answer whenever it is needed!

  • Prepare your mind for action (1 Peter 1:13).

  • Keep your mind sober from any contamination and remain in the Spirit (1 Peter 1:13).

  • Read the scriptures unceasingly and meditate upon in day and night so that what it teaches would sink in (1 Peter 2:2–3).

  • Honour Christ in your heart (1 Peter 3:15).

  • Remain in prayer that the Lord would open your mind and cause you to understand.
