Like Job 19:20, this verse also contains phrases that are difficult to translate. Job expresses his confidence that, even when his disease has run its course and his skin and flesh have been destroyed, he will yet see God. (Later, after God has spoken to Job out of a storm, Job would say that he has now seen God (Job 38:1; Job 42:5).)
