What does Galatians 1:11–24 reveal about who God the Father is?
God speaks. He revealed his gospel to Paul. He communicates truth to the people that he has made. He is not silent.
God is powerful. He intervenes so that a persecutor becomes a proclaimer of his truth.
God is sovereign. Before Paul was born, he was already elected to eternal life and chosen to serve God as an apostle.
God is gracious. He does not treat sinners (e.g., Paul) as they deserve.
God is witness. He knows the words we utter (Galatians 1:20).
11 For I would have you know, brothers, that the gospel that was preached by me is not man’s gospel.
