Why does The man describe the woman's breasts as twin fawns?
Song of Solomon 7:3 (ESV)
3Your two breasts are like two fawns, twins of a gazelle.
This metaphor is another repetition from his praise song in Song of Solomon 4:5. By comparing her breasts to twin fawns he is praising the symmetry and tenderness of her breasts, but also their representing fertility.
3 Your two breasts are like two fawns, twins of a gazelle.
