What does Galatians 5: 13-18 reveal about what God does in me and through me (Holy Spirit)?
God the Holy Spirit helps me love my neighbour. He shows me how Christ has loved me, and encourages me to think less of myself and more of others (see Philippians 2:1–4). He is busy changing my desires, so that I want to obey God’s Word more and more. He helps me to submit to God’s truth, particularly those sections of God’s Word that I might not like.
13 For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
