The Galatians are specifically told to serve one another in love (John 13:2, John 13:5, John 13:12).1 Loving service should characterize the life and fellowship of the church, not jealousy and fighting (Galatians 5:15). Though the focus of Paul’s encouragement is on doing good to other Christian believers, our love/service should also extend to those outside the church (Galatians 6:10).2
13 For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
