Believers are called to rejoice in all circumstances, trusting that God is working things for their good (1 Thessalonians 5:16; 2 Corinthians 6:10).1 Biblical joy is about hope of life in God’s presence on account of the work of Christ that is unperturbed by sorrow and tribulation.
