God’s kindness is his forbearance and patience, restraining the infliction of punishment and execution of his wrath in order to encourage repentance (see 2 Peter 3:7–10). This patience shown towards man is the basis and reason for Christian patience to others,1 the enduring of difficult situations and people without losing your composure.2
