What does Galatians 5:26—6:5 reveal about what God does in my place and on my behalf (Son)?
Jesus Christ has borne the burden of my sins in my place, paying the penalty that I deserve for behaving in unloving and hateful ways. Throughout his life, he loved his neighbour as himself, fully obedient to all aspects of God’s law, and thereby he merited eternal life in God’s presence for all who belong to him.
