Without reservation, the author entrusts himself to God. With all his cares, all his troubled thoughts, he throws himself in God’s arms. The Lord may know everything. His Creator is welcome to search and know him fully.
This is how the author started this psalm in Psalm 139:1 and this is how he ends it. Psalm 94:19 also fits with this: When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul.
It is exemplary for us to see this tremendous trust in God.
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts!
