The rule in view is the pre-eminence of the new creation and the conclusion that both circumcision and uncircumcision is irrelevant when it comes to our justification. 1 The reality of salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ alone. 2 Those who do not walk according to this rule walk in the way of the present evil age (see Galatians 1:4) and remain under a curse (Galatians 1:8–9; Galatians 3:10). 3
16 And as for all who walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.
