IV Prayer of response
Heavenly Father,
We thank you for your Son, that he was loyal to you in all things and also to your people. Thank you that he gave his life to pay for the sins of fools, fools like us. Please help us by your Spirit to be comforted and encouraged by what our King has done for us. May we grow in our confidence that you love us and want what is best for us. May that help us to obey you also in those times when we’d rather not/obedience is difficult. Work in us by your Spirit to change us we pray, Amen.
