The previous two verses were spoken by the angel at whose feet John had fallen (Revelation 22:8). With no introduction to a new speaker, we might assume that the present verse is his continued speech. However, the content of Revelation 22:12–13 suggests that the words of these verses come directly from the mouth of the Lord Jesus Christ. That understanding also justifies seeing a break between Revelation 22:11 and Revelation 22:12, and thus between the broader sections of Revelation 22:6–11 and Revelation 22:12–17.
